Project 365

One of my goals this year was to participate in Project 365. What better time to start than January 1st?! Basically Project 365 simply encourages you to take a photo EVERY DAY for an entire year. Not only does it help you remember the little day to day things you often forget, it encourages you to look at things in a different light to really capture each day differently. Some days it may be a struggle, but I really think the payoff will be worth it! My goal is to post the pictures each with a short recap of each day to be able to look back after a year and always remember.

Day 1 - How I spent my New Years Day...in bed watching the Law & Order SVU marathon while playing on my new netbook
Day 2 - the last hoorah cake I baked before jumping back on the healthy bandwagon (so far, so good!)
Day 3 - A glorious Cowboys victory over the Eagles!!
Day 4 - enjoying a walk through the woods w/ Kenny & the dogs
Day 5 - Amber wondering what the heck we were doing up @ 5 am (attempting to get my new workout routine started!)
Day 6 - Preparing for my first day of SAT tutoring
Day 7 - Kenny doctoring Amber's toenail. Poor thing ripped the entire bottom portion of one of her nails off : o)
Day 8 - My kind of snowfall...a light dusting

Happy Birthday Amber

Today is Amber's 5th birthday. My baby is growing up : ) To celebrate, Mom & I bought the pups a brownie & ice cream! They truly enjoyed every last crumb.

NFC East Division Champions

That's right, NFC East is OURS! We were pumped & ready for this game and our boys came out and dominated the entire game.



While I'm not looking forward to playing the Eagles again, I have complete confidence in The Boys that this is finally our year to make it past the first round of the playoffs. We're playing our best football and we have the weapons to get it done. Let's do this!

Happy Birthday Tucker

Yesterday was Tucker's 5th Birthday. I can't believe our babies are 5 already (Amber's birthday is in just a couple weeks)! Time sure flies. In celebration of his birthday I made the dogs these homemade dog cupcakes (minus the icing).

How I'm spending New Years Day

While Kenny is off helping Dad winterize the boat, I'm spending the day relaxing with the Law & Order SVU marathon. I have a project planned for the rest of the weekend so I'm resting while I can : )
